Directions

STEP 1 | FILLING

Preheat oven 375°. Combine sugar, flour and spices and set them aside. After tossing apples with lemon juice, add the sugar mixture and toss it.

STEP 2 | DOUGH

Roll one half of the dough to a circle on a floured surface and transfer it to a pie plate. Add the filling. Roll the remaining dough and place it over the filling. Trim and seal the edge.

STEP 3 | FINALIZE

Beat the eggs until foamy and brush it over the crust. Sprinkle with sugar and cover it loosely with foil.

STEP 4 | BAKE AND SERVE

Bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake until the crust is golden brown. Cool it and serve.
